2025 Q1 Growave Product Updates
Hey everyone!
It’s been a little quiet on the update front since our December 2024 release, but trust us, that silence was us cooking up something big. We've spent the first quarter of 2025 heads down, building and refining, and now we're back with a massive roundup of what’s new at Growave!
From January through March, our product and engineering teams rolled out 23 new features and enhancements, fine-tuned core experiences, and launched several behind-the-scenes upgrades to make Growave more powerful, flexible, and intuitive than ever. This quarterly update is our biggest yet and we’re excited to finally share everything we’ve been working on.

January Updates
1. Custom Icons for Review Widgets
You can now personalize the Reviews widget with custom icons! Choose from a variety of pre-made icons and tweak their colors to align with your brand’s vibe.

2. Smarter Timing for Review Request Emails
Take control of your review strategy by choosing exactly when to send review request emails based on order status: Fulfilled, Paid, or Delivered.

3. Wishlist Counter Settings
The wishlist counter display is now manageable under Branding > Wishlist. It’s enabled by default and shows directly on your storefront.

4. Minimum Purchase for Referral Rewards
You can now set a minimum purchase amount for referral rewards, giving you more flexibility in your program.

5. Smarter Reviews Analytics
We’ve added new insights to Reviews analytics: track queued and sent requests, and manage the queue more easily.

6. Rewards History Widget
A new history widget on the rewards page lets customers view past transactions and track their loyalty activity in one clean view.

7. Discount Expiry Notifications
We added two new email notifications to let customers know when their rewards are about to expire. You can customize when they’re sent.


8. Rewards Analytics Dashboard
The first wave of rewards analytics upgrades is here, making it easier to track program performance. More enhancements are on the way.


9. Transparent Reward Limitations
We now display reward limitations directly on active discounts and in the rewards list, keeping customers in the loop.

February Updates
1. Prefilled Referral Email Messages
A small but mighty UX win: customers can now share referrals via email with prefilled messaging.

2. Filter Reviews in Sliders
Customize which reviews show up in the Review Slider and Mini Slider by filtering for featured or high-rated ones.

3. Expanded Wishlist Notification Previews
Wishlist emails now showcase up to 5 products, giving customers a better reminder of what they love.

4. VIP Reward Limit Transparency
We now show reward usage limitations for VIP tier customers right within their active discounts and rewards list.


5. Loyalty QR Code Launch
The Loyalty QR feature is now publicly available for merchants on the Growth plan with v2 widgets. Perfect for POS setups! You can check our help docs about feature setup here and here.

6. Name Display Options for Reviews
Let customers choose how their name appears when submitting reviews. Enable it in Reviews > Settings > Collect Reviews and in the Collect Reviews section, select the option "Allow customers to choose how to display their names publicly."

7. Wishlist Notification Performance Metrics
View 30-day insights on wishlist notification performance, including open rates and conversion data.

March Updates
1. Quick Launch Guide for Reviews & Wishlist
A brand new onboarding experience! Merchants can quickly add essential widgets and activate key features right out of the gate.

2. POS Extension Enhancements
Cashiers can now see loyalty point balances and available discounts right from the main POS screen.

3. All-in-One Widget Preview in Branding
Merchants can now preview all app widgets in the Branding section, making it easier to design a cohesive store experience.

4. Faster Discount Generation
Our revamped loyalty redemption architecture generates discounts 2-3x faster for a smoother customer journey.

5. Multi-Language Support for POS
The POS extension now automatically translates to the device’s default language. Bonjour, Hola, Hello!

6. Improved VIP Tier Emails
We’ve added a variable to VIP tier emails that displays the customer’s discount code once they level up.

7. More Insights on Customer Profiles
Merchants can now view more detailed info on how customers use discounts, directly from their profile page.

Integration updates
Omnisend
The Growave + Omnisend integration article was updated with the following information about the remindRound filter for the growave-review-request trigger. Learn more

Shopney
Full integration with the mobile app builder Shopney. Integrated with our loyalty, reviews and wishlists. Reward for in-app purchases is coming. Learn more

Gorgias
Added new widgets to the Gorgias dashboard and can manage reviews and points directly from Gorgias Dashboard. Learn more

Shopify POS
Added manuals for the cashiers on how to use Shopify POS and Growave integration. Learn more
